· 8+ years of In-depth working knowledge and strong experience with Cisco IOS and Juniper Junos. Expert proficiency with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS and other major protocols, and technologies like Traffic Engineering w/ Fast re-route, multi-cast, QoS, etc. Switching technologies like STP , RSTP , PVST, VRRP and HSRP ,MSTP, Dot1Q , Qing, Ether channel , Link aggregation techniques , LACP etc .,
· IP/MPLS, LDP, RSVP/ TE, QOS, COS, L2 VPWS and VPLS, FRR, Metro Ethernet technologies like UNI, EVC. Security- Firewalls, NAT / PAT, IPSEC, S2S. ALG (RTP, RTSP and FTP, DNS, HTTP), DHCP. Have experience in load balancers like F5, Juniper and Cisco.
· Network certification like CCNP/JNCIS, CCIP/JNCIP,CCIE/JNCIE would be preferred.
· Have experienced in traffic generator / analysis / troubleshooting with various vendors testing equipment’s (IXIA, SPIRENT, ANUE, JDSU, sniffers like wire shark, ethereal etc.). Experience using L3 test equipment such as Spirent and Ixia including test automation suites and Specific experience testing network features: ACLs, QOS, COS, Traffic Shaping, Queuing.
· And have the implementation knowledge of the above said technologies. Hands on experience integrating network hardware including firewalls, routers, switches, probes/Taps, terminal servers.
· Able to lead large technical teams and good at people management and client management. Good oral and written communications skills are a must as the job entails constant communication and collaboration with the design teams, other test engineers, and the suppliers.
